FAQ'S
Am I locked into a contract?
Nimbu is contract free, if at anytime you wish to stop using Nimbu, simply cancel your account and you will only be charged for any outstanding usage charges for the current billing period.
Once you cancel your account it will be inactive and at the end of the current billing period your account will no longer be accessible. If you wish to reactivate your account you will need to renew your subscription when you first log in.What if I am not happy with Nimbu at the end of the 60 Days?
If you are not happy with Nimbu after your 60 day trial, simply cancel your account before the end of the 60 days and you will not be charged for any use of Nimbu.
Once you cancel your account it will be inactive and at the end of the current billing period your account will no longer be accessible. If you wish to reactivate your account you will need to renew your subscription when you first log in.What happens at the end of the 60 days?
If you are happy with Nimbu and wish to keep using it, simply keep your account active and you will be charged $850ex.GST for your first period. At the end of the first period you will be charged $850ex.GST for your second period and any user & storage usage from your first period of an active account out of the trial period.
How do I apply for the Early Bird Special?
To apply for the Early Bird Special simply complete the application form above to begin the application process. Once the Nimbu team have received your application we will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
Can any RTO apply?
Yes any RTO or organisation can apply.
How many RTOs can use the one plan?
There is a limit to one RTO per Nimbu account for compliance and data security.
Is the BETA Trial only available to RTOs?
No any organisation can apply for the BETA Trial as Nimbu can easily be used for non-accredited training.

What is Nimbu?
Nimbu is online Learning Management System (LMS) designed for the RTO industry of Australia. It can also be used for non-accredited training. It has been specifically designed as an easy to use out-of-the-box LMS, suitable for small to medium sized RTOs looking for an affordable online LMS training solution.
Is Nimbu a SMS?
No Nimbu is not a Student Management System.
Will Nimbu handle my student enrolments and AVETMISS reporting?
Nimbu has a data export feature that allows the Nimbu account owner to export the relevant data for AVETMISS reporting as a CSV file. This data can then be used with other 3rd Party Providers to complete your AVETMISS reporting.
Nimbu does not capture student enrolments.Does the 100 free users include admin users?
Yes the 100 free users includes all type of users.
Where is all my data stored?
All your data is stored with Google Cloud Platform on servers located within Autralia.
Is Nimbu only for RTOs?
No, Nimbu can be used by any organisation as well as RTOs. It easily allows for accredited and non-accredited training.
Pricing Plan
What is the $850/mo license fee?
This fee is a monthly license fee for the use of Nimbu and the subdomain associated with the account.
How do you determine an active user?
Any user that has admin, trainer or content editor permissions is considered an active user whilst their account is active.
Any user with only student permissions is only considered an active user if they login within the billing period.What is the storage fee for?
Each Nimbu account requires data storage, this include uploaded files and any data created in association of the account, such as PDF files. At the end of each period your Nimbu account will be charged at a rate of $1.50/gb (ex. GST) for each gigabyte of data being stored. Please note this is rounded up to the nearest gigabyte. For example if you are using 2.25gb of data storage you will be charged for 3gb.
When and how are the monthly usage fees calculated?
Monthly usage charges are calculated and charged at the end of a billing period based on the usage throughout that period.
How will I be charged/invoiced for using Nimbu?
Upon completion of your trial period, you will be required to add a payment method if you wish to continue using your account. Your existing data will not be lost, you will simply need to add a payment method to make your first payment and continue using your account.
You can easily access all your invoices and receipts from your Nimbu account.What happens if I do not pay?
If your payment method fails at the end of a billing period, we will continue to attempt to take payment automatically up to four times over a two week time period. During this period users will continue to have access to the account.
Trainers, admin and account owners will all be prompted when logged in with an alert message in the header. Alerting the user that payment is past due.
If all four automatic attempts fail and payment continues to be unsuccessful, at the end of the two weeks the account will become inactive and all users will lose access to the account.
If you wish to reactivate the account, the account owner will need to log in and update the payment method and renew the subscription.Does Nimbu store my credit card details?
No Nimbu does not store your credit card details. We use world renown Stripe as our payment gateway and charges and transaction.

If you wish to reactivate a cancelled account, the account owner will need to log in and renew the subscription before other users can have access to the account.
Please note you can only reactivate accounts that have been deactivated for 0-6 months. Any account that has been deactivated longer than 6 months will be permanently deleted.
Once this has been paid your account will be reactivated.
Nimbu Features
What types of learning material formats are available on Nimbu?
Nimbu provides a range of content options to be used for online learning.
These include:- Uploading of PDF files
- Embedding videos, podcasts, Canva presentations
- SCORM files
- Or on-screen articles (similar to a blog or website page) using an easy to use HTML WYSIWYG editor
- Online self marking quizzes
Does Nimbu allow for online assessments?
Yes there are a number of great tools and features that make online assessments easy and efficient for both trainers and students.
Some of these features include:- Self marking questions such as true/false, multiple-choice, selection questions
- Ability for students to upload files for assessing
- Question sets for a group of questions related to one another
- Easy to use feedback and resubmission workflow
- Automated short answer question when required for further evidence
- Easy to use and navigate trainer marking dashboard.

Does Nimbu allow for pre-course material?
Nimbu allows for both Pre-Course Material and Pre-Training Reviews. Please see the list of features and settings for each below.
Pre-Course Materials- Default Pre-Course setting at account level allowing quick application to all courses.
- Upload as much pre-course material per template as you need.
- Save multiple pre-course templates for individual courses or delivery variations.
- Option to enforce student acceptance for each item
- Students are required to view Pre-Course Material prior to accessing their class.
Pre-Training Reviews- Default PTR setting at account level allowing for quick application to all courses.
- Easy to build PTR questions and save into a PTR library
- Easily assign PTR from library to each course
- Students are required to complete their PTR before accessing their class
